New Carbon Materials
 
 
  "Advanced Carbon" differentiates from traditional carbon materials, mainly referring to carbonaceous materials with novel structural characteristics and excellent physical and chemical properties, such as carbon nanotubes, carbon nanofibers, mesoporous carbon, high performance graphite and their composite materials. Carbon nanotubes present unique nano-scale hollow structures and novel physical and chemical properties, and therefore are expected to be widely applied in the fields of nano-electronic devices, field emission, clean energy storage, and electrical, thermal and mechanical reinforcements, etc.
